This track originally appeared in glorified rock band format on "Passion and Warfare" released in 1990 as part of a proposed musical. When creating Passion and Warfare I worked to create an orchestra in digital sample format when the technology first hit the scene, but always felt that one day it could make a very nice orchestra piece so when preparing for the Metropole "Sound Theories" project I decided to include this piece. I originally wrote this piece on an airplane while on tour with Frank Zappa. It was part of a story I was putting together at the time that the entire Passion and Warfare record was based on. Liberty was to be the anthem of a different kind of world. The song had lyrics.
