Product Description

"Side by Side" is a popular song by Harry M. Woods written in 1927, and is now considered a standard. This version is based upon a two piano recording from "The Magic Pianos Of Liberace and Gordon Robinson"; which is a rare album. I wrote the transcription/adaptation for solo piano, and perform it.

Gordon Robinson was the orchestra director for Liberace on his emmy award-winning T.V. show. This was the only time Liberace ever performed two-piano recordings and the album is very rare and hard to find.

Oh, we ain't got a barrel of money,
Maybe we're ragged and funny
But we'll travel along
Singing a song
Side by side.

Don't know what's comin' tomorrow
Maybe it's trouble and sorrow
But we'll travel the road
Sharing our load
Side by side.
