Electric Love is a REALLY fun song for your pop a cappella group. It's approachable for high school groups with a strong bass and can be performed with or without vocal percussion. The energetic forward momentum makes it a strong opener or closer to a set! 12/8 meter makes for good discussion of rhythm and the interplay of the harmony means soprano, alto, and tenor work together to fill out the rhythm section. This version is scored for a duet (Soprano and Alot) with a decent C# belt. The bass drops to a low F#, but if you've got a great bass with a low E there are some moments for octave drops. It's been shortened to be an exciting 2 minute bop, but you could easily add a repeat and sing the second verse. The demo recording is generated from Synthesizer V using the Solaria and Choir 2 & 3 voices.
