Hey, Look Me Over is an upbeat show tune from the 1960 Broadway musical Wildcat, written by composer Cy Coleman and lyricist Carolyn Leigh. It was introduced on Broadway by Lucille Ball in her only leading role on the New York stage, playing the character Wildcat Jackson. The song quickly escaped the show and became a popular standard, recorded or performed by artists such as Louis Armstrong, Judy Garland, Rosemary Clooney, Bing Crosby, Peggy Lee, Johnny Mathis, and others. The tune was even adapted as a campaign song for Ted Kennedys 1962 special Senate election, using the familiar melody with political lyrics.Heres a stiring trumpet duet version for you to enjoy.
