Shalom (arr. Kayla Jessop), from Angel Studios' DAVID and composed by Molly Kate Kestner, is presented here in an arrangement for piano and voice.
Notated with three flats in 4/4 time, the piece opens with the tempo instruction "Freely, slowly, without exact rhythm". The sparse piano accompaniment rests for several measures while the voice is unaccompanied, later returning with sustained chords.
The solo vocal part, assigned to the character DAVID, includes lyrics but no guitar chord symbols. The vocal staff is written using an octave-down treble clef.
