This song was used originally in the musical theatre comedy Nisses Dream (book and lyrics by Nancy Wood and music and lyrics by Paul Safar) in 2005. In the play, the character of the mother/witch sings the lullaby to the adolescent Nisse on the eve before their journey to retrive the family cow from the pack of bumbling trolls. Lullaby is a short, sweet and catchy melody that can be sung by a male or female low-medium voice range.
