Product Description

Mack the Knife, the famous opening song from the Threepenny Opera (1928 by Kurt Weill and Bertold Brecht), introduces a very bad character, based on the historical notorious 18th century London thief, Jack Sheppard. The recoding by Bobby Darin in 1959 becamse a number one hit in the USA and the UK. This arrangement doesnt follow the half-step modulation after each verse, but rather modulates a whole step with every other verse. The repeats can be omitted to make the song shorter. This arrangement is relatively easy and fun to play.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
