Aura Lee is an American popular song, also known through Love Me Tender.I created an easy three-part classical guitar ensemble arrangement with tablature for use in junior-high and high-school music classes.Guitar 1: the melody in C major, playable only on the 1st3rd stringsGuitar 2: the simplest part, playing bass notes mostly in half notes on the 4th6th stringsGuitar Accompaniment (Easy):An eighth-note arpeggio accompaniment, suitable for students or teachers who are confident with guitar.Guitar Accompaniment (Advanced):A slightly more challenging accompaniment.Except for the accompaniment part, I think that with one or two hours of practice, students should be able to perform the two-part ensemble. The layout places Guitar 1 and Guitar 2 on one A4 page, and the accompaniment part on another A4 page. When copied double-sided onto a single A4 sheet, the entire piece can be performed with no page turns.
