The Pink Panther Theme, composed by Henry Mancini in 1963, is one of the most iconic and recognizable pieces of film music. Written for the opening credits of the film The Pink Panther, the jazzy, mysterious melody captures the sly, playful personality of the animated pink panther character and the comedic tone of the movie. Mancinis theme became a classic in both jazz and film music and won three Grammy Awards, cementing its place in pop culture history. This arrangement is a duet for alto and tenor saxophones. Both parts remain in a comfortable range except for a few optional notes in the alto sax part which may be played an octave higher if desired.*Also sold separately as a duet for clarinet and bass clarinet (parts interchangeable).
