This Christmas classic was first written for the musical film "Meet Me In St. Louis" in 1944 and sung by Judy Garland. Premiering during World War II meant the song took on great meaning for families that were separated from loved ones because of the war. The current and best known lyrics come from 1957 changes made for Frank Sinatra. This arrangement makes the song more approachable for less experienced players. It includes optional note names, an easier key, and slide position numbers to assist in learning it.
