Nigel Hess wrote the theme and incidental music to the 1989 BBC TV adaption of the Albert Cmpion novels by Margry Allingham which starred Peter Davidson (Dr Who) as Albert Campion and also sang the theme in series one.

This arrangement for Clarinet, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Trombone, Keyboard, Drums and Percussion needs a lightness of touch from the players to enable the overall balance of the piece to be at its most effective.
