Bioluminescence is a piece I wrote that is designed to capture the glow of the algae on the ocean waves at night. It can be played with Piano and Double Bass, or by adding one of your friends' hands to the piano. Bioluminescence is one of nature's most beautiful phenomenons, and I tried to recreate the feeling of wonder; the feeling of sadness as the sun rises and the glow dissipates. Hopefully this one strikes a chord with someone.
