"Azizam" is a song by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. It was released on 4 April 2025 as the lead single from his upcoming eighth studio album, Play. The track was written and produced by Sheeran, Ilya Salmanzadeh, Johnny McDaid and Savan Kotecha and debuted at number three on the UK singles chart. The word "azizam" (عزیزم) originates from the Persian language (Farsi) and literally translates to "my dear" or "my beloved". The track features Persian music influences, with several Iranian and Indian artists taking part in the recording of the song. This arrangement for brass band retains the recorded key of E flat minor but adds a little rhythmic twist in the middle. Give your summer programme a boost of this infectious hit and get your audience to their feet! Arranged as part of an ongoing programme to bring more music by British artists into the worldwide repertoire #arrangemegoals2025
