Grade 5. Performance time: approx. 1 min, 20 sec. Tempo: 92I arranged and played this with a buddy years ago. It was a blast! I've edited Bach's original to keep the trumpets' ranges more accessible.The dynamics are in the sound sample, but I didn't put them on the sheet music, so feel free to experiment with your own--adding crescendos, accents, etc., can really bring a classic to life!The trumpets are "Orchestral Trumpet" 1 and 2 from the Garritan library of Finale instruments.Mixing was done with Reason 11.I arrange with REVERB, and use it to sustain notes and create chords which won't be heard without it. I recommend performing this arrangement in an area that has at least some echo. I chanced upon this article by Michelle Sabolchick on "Venue Acoustics" which may provide some performance insights, even in a totally acoustic environment.
