Full Orchestra. Advanced. This, my first symphony , was inspired by various religious apocalypse stories, especially Christian, but also, the various Indigenous North American and ancient Norse. The overall pattern is a time of peace and beauty , marred by immoral and idolatrous conduct, followed by terrifying utter destruction of peoples and environment and finally the emergence of a new age of calm, comfort, beauty and prosperity . These three phases are depicted in the threemovements. About 45 minutes
