Hark! The Herald Angels Sing is an 18th century Christmas Carol. The popular tune everyone knows and loves today was composed in the 19th century. This arrangement is for four-part a cappella Mens Chorus (TTBB) with the melody primarily in the Tenor 2 part. It opens with the melody in unison on one syllable (optional) and continues with the first verse in a very traditional style. The second verse is lighter and the third verse is triumphant. The second and third verses incorporate their own subtle but meaningful harmonic variation. Key of G Major.Unison D3-E4.Tenor 1 B3-B4.Tenor 2 D3-E4.Baritone D3-F#4.Bass E2-A3.
