This traditional Scottish melody was adapted by James Sanderson into a march in 1812. It was played in honor of many United States presidents and leaders over the years until in 1954, it became the personal anthem of the President of the United States. This arrangement makes the song more approachable for less experienced players. It includes an easier key and optional note names to assist in learning it.
