Product Description

The polka mazurka Ein Herz, ein Sinn (One Heart, One Mind) by Johann Strauss Jr. was written for the Citizen's Ball during the carnival season of 1868. It premiered on 11 February 1868 in the Redouten Hall of the Vienna Hofburg in the presence of Emperor Franz Joseph I. The arrangement is kept in the original key of the composition for symphony orchestra and was commissioned and first time performed by Mozarteum Wind Philharmonic Salzburg conducted by Hansjoerg Angerer at their "New Year's Concert" on 6 January 2011 at the "Grosses Festspielhaus" (Large Festival Hall) in Salzburg, Austria.
