Liebesträume. Drei Notturni (German: Love Dreams. Three Nocturnes. Liebe: love; Träume: dreams. Singular form: Liebestraum) is a series of three works for solo piano (S/G541) by Franz Liszt. They were published in 1850. The term is often used to refer specifically to the third Liebestraum, which is the most widely recognized of the three. They were conceived as songs on poems by Ludwig Uhland and Ferdinand Freiligrath. In 1850 two versions appeared as a set of songs for soprano voice and piano and as transcriptions for four hands.
