This is one of a series of clarinet pieces based on the Delphine mode(This new mode is based on my "Modal Madness" for brass quintet in which one part (originally intended for the horn player Delphine Gauthier-Guiche) goes crazy and invents a new mode - intially a-a#-b-c-c#-f-f#-g but transposed here for the clarinet version).Whereas the original duo canon involves transpositions to other keys within the Delphine mode, this alternative version has both parts in the same key.It uses the solo performance by József Dávid (Budapest Scoring) which I have copied to different spatial places in the stereo space.
