John Powell's music for "How To Train Your Dragon" was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Score. You can definitely hear Scottish/Celtic influences in the music. This selection is the "Romantic Flight" (also called Astrid's Theme") and is a beautiful, flowing, lyrical piece of music which translates wonderfully to the sound of a String Ensemble. [Note: it is in 3/4-time and thus can be successfully used with the "hesitation step" for a wedding entrance walk - which was exactly why this arrangement was requested!]
