This accessible and joyful piece is based on Gregorian chant tune for the Solemnity of Christ the King "Christus vincit! Christus regnat! Christus imperat!". It is written in the 5 part rondo form ABABA where the main theme alternates with the secondary theme and visits many interesting keys and colourful harmonies.
