This work is all about memories and reminiscences. It is flexibly scored in 10 parts and is essentially written for flexible 'sinfonietta' instrumentation of one of each main orchestral instrument plus piano (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, 2 violins, viola, and cello), though other instruments can be substituted. The piece uses a harmonic sequence of jazz-like chords (only heard fully in the final passage). This material re-occurs out of sequence throughout the piece with only subtle changes (mainly of context). This helps to establish the 'reminiscence' aspect of the work. This PDF document is complete for performance, with the full score provided, followed by each part, including various tranposed parts
