This two-movement organ work is in the form of the late-Renaissance dance pairing, "Pavane and Galliard" (a forerunner to the later multi-movement instrumental dance suite). It's for manuals alone, and is capable of being played on a one-manual organ. Suitable for church or recital use, the piece is easy/intermediate in difficulty, and is dedicated to organist Carson Cooman, who requested the piece for a larger "Pavane and Galliard" project that he is undertaking for his recital work.
