This is my version of the third of five movements, the Scherzo, from Mahler's Seventh Symphony. This is not simply a transcription of the orchestral score onto four staves, like Mahler's incipient sketches. This is a reimagining of the orchestral language in the context of a piano duet, and an opportunity to be realized by less costly ensembles. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy.
