Steel Shadows is an intermediate, high school-level steel pan or mallet ensemble. I wrote this piece for my high school percussion ensemble at Muscatine High School, in Muscatine, Iowa. This is the first original piece I wrote for our new steel pan ensemble. All pan sections have a small feature of playing the melody in this ensemble.
