This chorale by J. S. Bach, "O Haupt Voll Blut und Wunden" (O Sacred Head Now Wounded) has been arranged by Stephen W. Burch (ASCAP) for any type of instrumental ensemble comprised of any wind, string, or brass instruments. There are separate parts for Piano, C-treble, C-bass, C-alto (viola), B-flat, E-flat, and F instruments. Each part has all four voices (SATB), so that players can each play any voice. It is one of 18 Bach chorales arranged for any instrument group. Four-part chorales like this are especially useful for music educators in helping musicians develop flawless intonation, and strengthen listening skills within an ensemble.
