"Love Story" () was composed by Francis Lai from Nice, France in 1970 for the movie with same title. This music is the very first music that brought me into the world of movie soundtrack. My mother Annie was the fan of Sound of Music and she bought me this cassette to encourage me to listen. At the age of 10, I did not really apprehend the English lyric due to language barrier but in order not to upset my mother, I had to listen until the end of the tracks. That progress was tormenting as if you were sitting next to fire and one minute was like one hour. Finally when the music reached the end and I was about to turn off the cassette player, the beautiful piano music of "Love Story" (Richard Clayerman's version) was played and I could remember my soul was vibrated by the simple yet sorrowful tune of this. This music was not even show in the cassette booklet and it was a bonus track! Since then, I started my journey to hunt down the most beautiful music I could find in the world to arrange them to the version I prefer and play them. The music composition technique of Francis Lai has a great influence of my composition especially his style of inversion and modulation. Dedicated this performance to Francis Lai and those who believe in the notion "Love means never having to say you are sorry".
