Austrian composer Fridolin Dallingers Dialoge for flute and cello are a welcome addition to the small original repertoire for this duo combination. Dating from 1966, the three short pieces are not too difficult for advanced students, yet sophisticated in their atonal expression. They are printed for the first time, just in time to celebrate Dallingers 85th birthday on 16 February 2018. A student of Helmut Eder and Robert Schollum, Dallinger has been awarded numerous awards, including the Österreichischer Staatspreis, and was a renowned pedagogue.
