This arrangement, by Johann Kaspar Mertz is, probably, the best one for the guitar. He based his version on Liszts famous piano transcription. It was originally published in a volume of six Schubert songs, all arranged by Mertz, around 1845, in Vienna, by Tobias Haslinger.
