Rimsky-Korsakov composed his opera The Snow Maiden in 1880, and was premiered in 1882. The "Dance of the Tumblers" was popularized as the fourth and final movement from the Suite compiled by the composer. This movement has been rewritten for Brass Quintet, and is a showcase for each musician. This arrangement works well as a concert opener, closer, or anywhere in between. For more brass arrangements by David J.
