A simplified and shorter version of the world famous "Moonlight Sonata", composed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Just the theme of the 1st movement of the Sonata #14, op. 27, no. 2 in C# minor - here transposed to D minor, half step up, to an easier comprehension. The tuplets and the piece were converted to a 3/4 time to make it easier for students and amateurs to read and play - 1 bar of the original were transformed into 4 in this arragement. Here the melody is played by the viola and the accompainment by the piano.
