A fun and energetic 4-Minute flute solo (which also works well on violin), inspired by the playing of Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull). It covers the three "Bs": there's a lively, Baroque-sounding "Bach" section, a syncopated "boogie" section, and a "Balkan" inspired section in alternating 7/8 and 9/8 time signatures, all framed by a haunting, recurring slow motive. I've written in the subdivisions of the Balkan section (e.g. 2+2+3+2) to help navigate the challenging time signatures. Listening to the demo should help with the syncopated and Balkan sections - they are easier to feel than read for many.
