This arrangement was made for Marvin Hamlisch and used with him many times in performance. Henry Mancini recorded several versions of his popular television show theme. However, most of these were record versions and as a result did not have strong endings since they were meant as a fade out. This arrangement draws inspiration from the beginning of one of the record versions and stitches it together with the powerful ending. In both cases an attempt was made to preserve Mancinis unique voicings and orchestrational content. Options All solos are optional. Score shows were cuts can take place if solos are omitted. Bar 5 is an optional starting point. Bar 57 is also an optional starting point. If Organ solo is omitted possible to cut from B to E If organ solo and Drum Set solo is omitted possible cut from B to bar 57
