This arrangement blends Martin Luthers baptismal hymn with the more familiar dedicational song "Take My Life and Let It Be." The staunch tones that begin and conclude the piece transport one to the Jordan River and invite one to think on the meaning of baptism. The middle of the piece provides a pensive meditation upon Christian service. This score contains lead trumpet part. For the other parts, (including lead, 1st, and 2nd trumpet, violin, or other tuned mallet instrument, and piano) see the conductor's score or the individual parts under the same title.
