"She Moved Through the Fair" (also known as Keayrt Dooyrt My Ghraih Veem Rhym) is a traditional Irish folk song in which the narrator (tenor) sees his lover (soprano) move away from him through the fair, after telling him that since her family will approve, "it will not be long, love, till our wedding day". Yet, she returns as a ghost at night, and repeats the words "it will not be long, love", implying her own tragic death, and perhaps the couple's reunion in the afterlife. It is scored for a 4-part SATB ensemble and pianist. Performance time: 4:56.
