"God, We Praise" is a 4-5 octave, 68 measure medley of the Christian hymns: "All Creatures of Our God and King", "Praise the Lord Who Reigns Above", "All Things Bright and Beautiful", and "Ill Praise My Maker", arranged for handbell choir. The obvious underlying theme of the medley is praising God. It starts out with a straightforward version of "All Creatures of Our God and King". Then, in "Praise the Lord Who Reigns Above", there is significant descant usage in the higher bells. (These descants are not so high that they cannot be played by a 4 octave bell choir.) There are also a few brief bass runs. There are again descant lines and bass runs in "All Things Bright and Beautiful". It finishes with "Ill Praise My Maker", where doubling, and even tripling of the melody line is used at times, along with very full chords, for a more majestic sound. Throughout this arrangement, chords more exotic than the original chords are often used. The hymns selected for the medley are fairly homogeneous in style, which can be an advantage in some situations. I would guess that this is about a level 2+ arrangement in difficulty.
