This a song for voice and piano. It is a transcription of my original piece for piano and strings from 1999. With a moving text by Laura Kinney Farrand, it is now a beautiful rendition with text. I do not say which voice category is best, but tenor or high baritone, soprano or high mezzo would fit best. Difficulty would be medium. This would be appropriate for memorial services, church solos, or any situation to uplift people to positive hope for the future. The piece is very melodious, and evokes a British Isles or Celtic sentiment. I also have a version for violin and piano. I hope you enjoy singing and sharing this piece with your audience. I wrote this for my father, dated Veteran's Day, 1999, as commemoration and hope for a peaceful future.
