Useful in Schools / Community, for choirs and activity groups. Suitable for assemblies / performances / celebrations, or in the home - just for fun! A lively song to celebrate life and encourage Ujima: working together for common good. Easy chorus to encourage audience participation. This song was originally inspired by an old Tarzan film I saw as a child! Tarzan explained what Ujima meant to Jane and the word / ethos, stuck with me. Forty years laterI was asked to write a song for a whole-school celebration, to involve the audience and inspire co-operation. So I used the idea for this song. Song Trax are available of the original recordings performed by staff and pupils of Knighton School 2000.
