From the composer: Each piece in this compilation is inspired
by a person Ive met or place Ive
explored in my many travels over the
years. Solitude and Hidden Peak are
beautiful areas in the canyons above
Salt Lake City, Utah. Fraser Canyon is a
terrifyingly majestic river gorge in British
Columbia. O.B. was written for my late
friend Oliver Bienz, a very keen alphorn
player whose many other interests
included antique clocks. As for the
Alphorn Shuffle... well, thats just a bit of
fun, really!
