A wonderful late Renaissance work from Dutch keyboardist and composer Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, arranged by American composer P. F. Strohm for your brass quintet as a contest, recital or concert showpiece. Four variations on an old Dutch folksong, full of Renaissance harmonies and dazzling scales. Very playable ranges, but there will be woodshed time putting the parts together. Once ready, though, "Onder een linde groen" will make your quintet glad to be brass players! Performance time 4:40. Member, ASCAP.
