These solos are designed for the beginner Trombonist, and all are designed to use only the first four positions.
As such, trombone players should be able to focus on proper hand position, breath control, articulation and tone production - all without concern for extending to 6th or 7th positions, or searching for that elusive 5th position.
In addition, solos incorporate common rhythmic, range or other performance issues appropriate to this level of development.
Each solo has performance hints, specific to that solo.
This book only includes the piano accompaniment.
