"Counting Stars" is from Laurie Jeanne Crockett's 2nd piano album, "A Simple Life: Contemporary Folk Piano Meditations." "A Simple Life" contains 15 original inspirational, adult contemporary piano tracks to calm the soul and cheer the heart. With a touch of Americana, these pieces will transport you back to a simpler time of porch swings and Sunday suppers. Recorded at Subcat Studios in Syracuse, NY on their Yamaha C7 grand piano, the bass is rich and the treble sings. The sheet music is at the intermediate level which makes this tender, melodic music highly accessible. Laurie Jeanne (ASCAP) is the two time recipient of the Individual Artist Grant, awarded by the Central New York Arts Council, and is a regular contributor to the online music library Pond5. She can also be heard on Spotify where you can check out this album as well as her Christmas CD, "Christmas Past Christmas Present," an arrangement for piano and voice of traditional European carols such as Sans Day Carol and Coventry Carol, including several original Christmas songs. Sheet music is also available for all titles on this album. To learn more about Laurie Jeanne and her music, please visit her website, lauriejeanne.com or her youtube channel, Lauriejeanne Composer.
