This is an easy version of the Walker Hayes country hit song which went viral on TikTok this year if you havent heard it, your teenage students probably have! This piece provides the opportunity to practise some syncopated rhythms, working on coordination between the two hands, as well as sneaky almost-scales! This arrangement is 23 bars long (intro, verse, chorus, outro), includes notes of the treble clef including leger lines, two- and three-note chords, syncopation, dynamics, fingering suggestions and accidentals. It has been simplified for your students to enjoy by transposing from the original G flat to G and by writing a more basic left hand accompaniment when the right hand has a more complex melody. A sample is shown for you to guage the complexity for your students.
