Product Description

The overture op. 98 is an orchestral piece of Mendelssohn and therefore the orginal score is an orchestral score.
Unfortunately there are only two different transcriptions, one for piano 4-hands and one for two pianos for 8-hand.

Because of its beautiful melody, I was asked by a friend to do a transcription of the first part of the overture for piano 2-hands.
This first theme of the overture is a nice melodic piece, ideal for a small performance on a wedding, anniversary or similar events.
