A beautiful STRING ORCHESTRA arrangement of the first movement of Dvorak's Bagatelles (originally for 2 violins, cello and harmonium).

This popular piece is performed far less frequently than it should be due to its unusual instrumentation. This new arrangement for string orchestra allows it to be played and enjoyed on a wider scale.

The sheet music also includes an optional violin 3 part if no violas are available.

All of Emma's arrangements find creative and artistic ways to re-present original pieces in a way that suits the new instruments and ensemble whilst maintaining the integrity of the original piece.

Emma Butterworth is a composer for film and TV and also a successful Suzuki cello teacher. She has an intimate knowledge of how to write for strings, and has written and arranged a vast number of pieces for cellos and strings especially. All pieces have been played and performed.
