I composed "Three Baroque Dances" in the style of the dance music that was popular in the 17th Century in the French Court of Louis XIV. Each dance is written in a different meter, ie., 2/2, 3/4, and 6/8 to challenge students in an intermediate string orchestra. However, for ease of playing I wrote the entire suite in 1st position only. I hope you and your orchestra enjoy rehearsing and performing my composition. Thank you!
