Beautiful Mother for Flute Trio was written for my Mom, in March of 2007 for Mothers Day. It has a beautiful, Celtic feel in 3/4 time and can be played with 3 C flutes or 2 C flutes and Alto flute. Poem by Lisa Sherwood: He saw the beautiful dark-haired girl She saw the red-haired boy. And one day they would say their vows to be forever more. Love beyond the stars at night Love beyond compare. A love was born to them so fair. A love so very rare. The years they passed and love grew on Three children and then four Trials, hardships, life and love, and to their children more Her prayers were lifted on her knees Her family grew to soar. A love has grown to them so fair. A love, so very rare.
