"Daydream" is the first of a set of a dozen colorful vignettes from the suite, 'Scenes from Childhood', depicting such nostalgic moments as "Racing with the Moon," "March of the Animals," "Following the Stream to Its Source," and "A Last Look Back". It's rich with sweet, singable tunes and kaleidoscopic harmonies, and radiates a simplicity and innocence which most may feel they lost long ago. Wonderful for children's concerts, family musicales, narrative and storytelling events. Exists in both flute-piano and flute-harp versions.
